Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz left the club at the end of the season, and Barcelona longed for him.
The Spanish champions are keeping labels on the 28-year-old, but they have been warned not to sign him this summer. Former Barcelona scout Bojan Krkic Sr. revealed that he has been scouting on Liverpool players for years and his preferences are too inconsistent.
Barcelona warns not to act
The former Barcelona Scout went on to explain that Diaz is a great player who can do wonders for any team, but he can disappear several games in one game. It would be interesting to see if Barcelona decides to take action for the Colombia International in the future.
He said: “Luis Díaz is a great player, but he lacks a solid performance. If I were at Barça, I wouldn't have signed him. I followed him when he was in Porto and now at Liverpool.
“He's a player who makes miracles for you and then disappears in three games, or in one game he gives you a cruel half hour and disappears. In Porto, he's even a substitute and then at Liverpool, and that's because of that.”
Liverpool will keep Luis Diaz

There is no doubt that he has always been a key player for Liverpool and the Reds will want to stick with him. Saudi Arabian clubs are also keen on Diaz.
The player scored 17 goals in all games and he also scored 8 assists in the process. Barcelona can use more depth on the side, while South America may be the ideal acquisition. However, Liverpool don't want to lose him easily, and they may demand a premium for players.
It would be interesting to see if Barcelona would like to branch out the bank for him in the next few months. They won La Liga this season and they will hope to win the Champions League next year. Quality signatures will certainly help them achieve their goals.
