Aston Villa has been tilted to consider dangerous transfer measures for free agent center Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer.

The former Everton striker recently left Goodison Park at the end of his contract and is still at the club for the time being.

Still, there is a lot of speculation about where Calvert-Lewin can go next, and the 28-year-old undoubtedly has the ability to be in the Premier League on his day.

At the end of his time at Everton, the club may be uncertain about Calvert-Lewin at this moment and lost his form at the end of his time at Everton.

However, former Leicester City and Brentford manager Martin Allen admitted that he could see Villa wanting to gamble on the players.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Aston Villa?

“He had a particularly difficult time with his injury,” Allen said in a discussion of this possibility with Villa News.

“But if he’s been training hard all summer and builds his own fitness in a good six weeks, he’ll get the goal. Calvert-Lewin has some knowledge of him, he has strength, his pace and good in the air.

“If Villa transfers him for free and gambles him, it’s likely to pay off. I can see the move to Villa happening because he already has talent, no doubt.”

Aston Villa may need Calvert-Lewin to replace Watkins

There is still some uncertainty about the future of Ollie Watkins at Villa Park.

The England striker has a connection with Manchester United by giving me sports, and it may be that Unai Emery needs to consider a replacement soon.

Calvert-Lewin may not be the best candidate, but he is at least an available and low-cost option that is certainly worth considering.
