A’s Issue Luis Urias -MLB Trade Rumors

Track and field releases infielders Louis Urisaccording to the MLB.com transaction log. On Monday, he was assigned as a mission. Urías has plenty of service time to reject minor league tasks while collecting the remaining time of its 1.1mm salary, so it is inevitable to release. A prefers to provide controllable in-fielders with playing time Zack Gelof,,,,, Darell Hernaiz and Brett Harris For extension.
Urías, 28, can now look for new opportunities. At least on September 1, he needs to sign somewhere on September 1, at least reach a minor league deal to qualify for the playoffs. Urias will be a free agent at the start of the offseason, so he may only attract interests from competitors who want to strengthen their infield depth.
Urías started a nice start to the season. He hit four home runs at the end of April with .245/.345/.490. He has had an incredible .227/.309/.307 slash when he made the 271 set since early May. Urías cut his strikeout rate into a career-low clip of 13.6%, but overall it is much higher than his productivity between 2023-24. He has rarely made hard connections and hasn’t achieved much power since combining 39 home runs with the brewer in 2021-22.
The defensive metrics are within the league average of second and third bases. He is the right batsman and, as one would expect, he usually performs better on left-handed pitching. This season wasn’t the case, as he hit .183 with a home run in set 68. If he contacts another team by the end of the year, his signing club will pay him a minimum selling price of $760,000.
