Arsenal’s new contract is officially confirmed

Arsenal’s new contract against young attacking midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has now been officially announced.

The 18-year-old has risen from the Gunners Academy to become an important first-tier player, making 37 appearances last season and scoring a total of nine goals.

Some imagine there will be more Nwaneri now, who devotes his future to Arsenal, said he is “excited” and he feels “at home” at the Emirates Stadium.

As our columnist and AFC expert Charles Watts previously revealed, Nwaneri is also Chelsea’s goal.

However, now, Nwaneri’s new contract has been officially signed on Arsenal.com.

As quoted by Arsenal’s official website, Nwaneri said: “Contracting means everything to me. I think this is my first real season in the men’s senior football game, which is part of the team in the locker room.

“I’m so excited about what I can bring to the team and I want to help us win as much as possible and bring happiness and glory to the club. This is where I feel at home.”

Arsenal fans will certainly be happy with the news, too, as Nwaneri looks like a top future player.

Arsenal’s academy offers again

It’s been a very positive for Arsenal’s academy, and Bukayo Saka proved the biggest success story, while Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly also rose with key members of the Mikel Arteta team.

He still has only 15 games in the preseason, and it’s worth a try after Max Dowman won an impressive few games in the first team, so it may have to wait a little longer to get out in a competitive game.

Nwaneri actually made his Arsenal debut at the age of 15, becoming the youngest player ever in the Premier League at the time.
