Arsenal signs “Excellent” in negotiations $52 million

It’s already a very busy summer transfer window for Arsenal, but the spending frenzy seems to be going on.
Noni Madueke was announced as the club’s latest recruit, arriving from Chelsea on Friday, reportedly at £52 million.
He is the club’s fourth signing in the summer, after Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martín Zubimendi and Christian Nørgaard, he predicted that Viktor Gyökeres and Cristhian Mosquera would soon follow.
Nevertheless, with Mikel Arteta aiming for Premier League titles and he is far from completing, it seems the Gunners will take action for another “stellar” talent.
Arsenal hopes to add more firepower
As shown in the table below, Madueke became the seventh player in just seven years, joining London rival Chelsea’s Arsenal.

The general fatigue of Gooners signing Chelsea explains some indifference to the deal, but the Telegraph’s Sam Dean believes Madueke will be a great addition to Arteta’s forward choice.
But now, offside Mark Brus reports that Arsenal has held talks with representatives of RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons, adding that the Dutch price of £52m may be a potential blow to the players.
The 22-year-old died permanently from Paris Saint-Germain in January only for about £43 million, but a report by German newspaper Yvonne Gabriel of Bild claimed he wanted to leave and Leipzig failed to compete in any European competition, so he was given priority to advance to the former principal.
So, can he become the eighth Dutch International representing Arsenal, associated with Jurriën Imber while following Robin Van Persie, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, Marc Overmars, Dennis Bergkamp, etc.?
How will Xavi Simons improve Arsenal
Although still only 22 years old, Simmons has been in the spotlight for a long time, but is properly described as a miracle.
He spent some time at the academy of Barcelona and PSG, but his real breakthrough was at PSV Eindhoven in the 2022/23 season, winning 22 goals and 11 assists for the Eredivisie Giants, winning KNVB Beker and Johan Cruyff Schaal.
Given his form, PSG enacted a buyback clause worth £5m, although he only had two spells to make 11 high-end appearances for Les Rouge-et-Bleu in both spells and loaned to Leipzig, before being sold earlier this year for a substantial profit, as mentioned earlier.
In the eastern German region, Simmons has certainly caught the attention, scoring 21 goals and amassing 23 assists in 76 games, including ten in the Bundesliga last season.
Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund labeled him as a “outstanding player” while Sultan Babajide asserted his lines asserted that he was “destined to be on top” and able to operate in the center and in scope, given that he was “excellent between billiards”.
Well, Night Standard Simon Collings believes that Arsenal needs a creative midfielder who can “take the burden” and that’s such a heavy burden, which is the chief organizer Martin Ødegaard, and Simmons certainly seems to fit the bill.
But is Dutch International really more exciting than Madueke?
Let’s compare the duo.

As the table outlines, while Madueke’s statistics are impressive, especially when it comes to shooting and dribbling, the Simons stands out across the board.
The Dutchman’s numbers are exponentially high in shooting accuracy, creating opportunities and touch, which highlights what he can bring.
Bart Vlietstra of The Guardian noted that Simmons has always been a “premature” talent and always has “things that cannot be resisted by him”, and his recent “outstanding” form shows that he is ready to take the next step.
So if Arsenal can convince him to swap Saxony for North London, he might be the one who glorifies them.
