Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made the exciting claim that players don't need to convince to move to the UAE Stadium.
Arteta told reporters at a press conference earlier today that he doesn't necessarily think that winning a big win with someone like Real Madrid has had a big impact on player transfer decisions.
Ask Arteta if pointing out such a huge result can prove convincing players who might join on the fence.
However, Spanish tacticians suggested that he never really had this problem.
Since becoming manager a few years ago, Arteta has overseen the impressive overhaul of Arsenal, with the club introducing big names like Declan Rice during its reign.
Mikel Arteta said the players were always excited.
Arsenal is a big name, even though it has been a while since their most successful period, and their reputation seems to mean that players are always enthusiastic when Arteta approaches them.
Asked about things like the Madrid outcome, Arteta said: “Maybe this could be another factor, but I think we're lucky because we're a football club and whenever I talk to the players they want to be a part of it.
“It may generate more enthusiasm, more belief…because the club is in a good place.
“Overall, we’re already so strong that we can attract any player.”
Arsenal fans will be happy to hear the news, as it may mean Arteta is already confident to connect with the Gunners before the summer.
Arteta can certainly add one or two top offensive players after being injured for the likes of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, and Bukayo Saka also put a lot of pressure on him after being asked to play so many games at a relatively young age.
