Liverpool reportedly are interested in signing Benfica midfielder Orkun Kokcu at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old Turkish international did a great job of costumes for Portugal this season, with his name having 11 goals and eight assists.
According to reports recorded in Portugal’s publication, Liverpool is pursuing players, and Arne Slot is particularly keen to reunite with midfielders. During Feyenoord time, Slot works with players. Kokcu was his key player at the time.
Liverpool can use target midfielders like him and it will be fun to see if they are willing to pay a premium. The midfielder has a €150 million release clause in his contract and he is unlikely to be a cheap acquisition.

The chances to enter the Premier League will be very exciting for the players and it will be a huge challenge for him. Liverpool is one of the largest clubs in the world and the chances of playing for any player can be difficult. Apart from that, the opportunity to reunite with his former manager will be an extra motivation.
Kokcu has a high opinion of the Liverpool manager, who previously claimed Slot is the best coach in the world.
“He made me the player today. He is the best coach in the world,” Kokcu said of the slot machine.
Interestingly, whether Liverpool can negotiate a reasonable deal for the midfield in the coming months. They are unlikely to pay him 150 million euros, and any club that wants to sign him will hope to make a reasonable deal.
