The Spurs will make a transfer with their London rivals.

TEL demonstrated his abilities during the initial loan, which is now paid to him for £15 million, compared to the initial £45 million deal in Bayern Munich, and Frank expressed excitement for the move by Chairman Daniel Levy.

“It’s very, very excited about Mathys signing through a permanent deal,” Frank said.

“I think he’s a very talented player who can play in the first four positions. He’s a shooter and we can develop further to be more consistent in his all-round game, but also to get into the right position more consistently in the box. So, I’m looking forward to that.”

The Frenchman will help replace Timo Werner, who returned to parent club RB Leipzig after a one-and-a-half-year interim tenure in N17, but the Spurs may soon find themselves in need of another range of players.

Son Heung Min’s withdrawal from Tottenham is considered a real possibility this summer, with the 32-year-old about to enter the last 12 months of his contract. According to Asia, Levy just has the window to make any substantial cash from his sale, and his head is clearly priced at £50 million.

Frank’s demand for potential son replacement prompted this week to connect with some interesting goals, including Manchester City’s Jack Grealish, Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus and Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.

The latter scored 20 goals in all matches under Frank last season and Totterham is believed to have had initial talks on signing Mbeumo, even if Man United is seen as his preferred destination (Sky Sports).

Fabrizio Romano also claimed that the Tottenham began to have an internal conversation with the Cameroonian once Frank signed the Spurs contract, so if United can’t meet Brentford’s valuation, he seems to be a serious choice.

Bryan Mbeumo’s chance to join Tottenham

According to Duncan Castles, a reporter for Transfers Podcast this week, Mbeumo’s choice to join Tottenham Hotspur is “very likely” to be contrary to his Manchester United-favorite report, but Levy needs to meet his £70m asking price.

“It seems like Mbeumo chose to move there and verbally told them his preference was to move there,” Castles said.

“But I’m not exactly the same about it. I think if Tottenham is going to meet the price Brentford requires, he’s very likely to pick the Spurs before Manchester United.

“There are several obvious reasons. One is that it allows him to stay in London, and secondly, it allows him to continue playing for Thomas Frank, who joined Totterham as a replacement for Ange Postecoglou.”

The versatile African will be the high-quality heir to his son on the right, and he is also good at playing center, meaning both Mbeumo and New Signing Tel can help ease the goal burden on signing Dominic Solanke’s club record.
