Chelsea is reportedly reaching a deal to beat Dortmund and other clubs to beat Brighton offensive midfielder Facundo Buonanotte’s potential transfer.

The 20-year-old caught the spotlight on his loan with Leicester City last season, but he can now head to Stamford Bridge.

Fabrizio Romano just broke the news this afternoon saying Chelsea is working to sign Buonanotte, even though they are not the only club interested in the talented young Argentinian.

See Romano’s post on X for more details, as it seems that other Premier League clubs may also be out of signatures…

Facundo Buonanotte looks set to move to Chelsea

Chelsea obviously has a close connection with Buonanotte here, and Romano has never been the one who makes too much hype.

For example, when speaking on his YouTube channel earlier today, the Italian journalist didn’t do much to challenge the flames associated with Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez.

Still, he did suggest that the CFC might look for an alternative to Xavi Simons, so maybe Buonanotte will end up being the player.

Chelsea raids Brighton again

Chelsea cannot stop signing Brighton players, and Bunanot may join former Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Joao Pedro and Robert Sanchez.

Most importantly, the Blues also previously hired Graham Potter as their manager, snatched him from Brighton after he was impressed.

It’s also another midfield signing for the attack, with Chelsea already signing Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian this summer, while Alejandro Garnacho has been confirmed by Enzo Maresca this afternoon.
