Angel Postecoglou is watched by Bayer Leverkusen and Fenerbahce

According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, Ange Postecoglou has become the management option for two major European clubs currently in search of new head coaches Bayer Leverkusen and Fenerbahce.
The former Tottenham Hotspur owner was seriously considered as both clubs evaluated their future plans.
Romano reported that Leverkusen and Fenerbahce’s decision makers discussed the postecoglou name internally, and that the Australian coach was seen as a candidate who could bring structure, offensive football.
Angel Postecoglou has high demand
His availability naturally attracted interest, especially when clubs across Europe seek to ensure managers who can provide direct results and long-term stability.
At the Spurs, he initially earned praise for revitalizing the team and instilling a clear philosophy, despite his tenure under pressure later in his first season.
Postecoglou still managed to win the Europa League with the Spurs, but it turned out that wasn’t enough to keep him working.
For Bayer Leverkusen, who sets high standards in the Bundesliga and European stages, it is crucial to find a new head coach as they hope to build on recent advancements. Postecoglou stressed that offensive football and his ability to develop players might make him well suited for their program.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce is also determined to appoint a highly-watched coach who can compete for Türkiye’s super assist title and stand out in European competitions.
Postecoglou has two good options for his next job

Leverkusen recently fired Erik’s ten partners, while Fenerbahce separated from Jose Mourinho.
Both of them are looking for a new manager after the two former Manchester United managers left.
Romano stressed that Leverkusen and Fenerbahce are still evaluating their options, but postecoglou’s verification record has him firmly putting him in the conversation.
