Angel Note: Soler, Trout, Stephenson

sl Jorge Soller Withdrew from today’s Angels in the second inning, and Angels later announced it was due to tight groin. Soller has been known for his groin problems in recent days, but apparently broke out tonight’s game against the Mariners. Updates about Soler status may be provided after the game, but due to the state of the state, the problem is more complex Mike Trout.

Soler usually serves as Anaheim’s DH this season, despite his uneven performance in this year’s game. 217/.291/.377 (88 WRC+). However, in recent weeks, Soler has become the club’s daily right-hander, while Trout returns to the lineup as the daily DH. As Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register noted, the trout is back to the outfield by doing some drills on the grass. manager Ron Washington Communicate that trout feels good after these exercises, but they are still “Minimum” No “It’s really challenging” Veteran star. This seems to indicate that the trout regularly returns to the right field during the game for at least a few days.

Returning to DH regularly will certainly be less difficult on Soler’s sick groin, but it’s not possible until the trout returns to the outfield. Since the injury list returned, the MVP of three-walk three-walk was 25 times, two-walk and one home run, obviously not sitting in respect of Soler. If Soller is not healthy enough to play, it may leave the Angels with no choice but to put him on the injured list. It should be passed Matthew Lugo,,,,, Chris Taylor,Maybe Scott Kingery Assuming that the Angel does not call another outfield option, you can see the outfield time Karen Paris.

In other news around the club, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com wrote right-handed Robert Stephenson Two MRIs have been performed since his right biceps were inflamed and he was placed on the injury list. Bollinger noted that the tests found no structural damage, Stephenson told reporters that he was dealing with the stretching nerve, which he described as “The freak was injured.” The abnormal nature of Stephenson’s injury means he has no clear return schedule, the right-hander added that there is no other treatment other than rest.

It shows that he may not be able to throw for a while, which is an incredibly frustrating event for a pitcher who missed the entire 2024 season due to Tommy John’s surgery and brought it back to a inning before he got on the shelves again. The 32-year-old won 2.35 ERA in 38 1/3 of the main innings during the latest healthy campaign in 2023 and hit 42.9% of his opponents facing it. This performance was impressive, allowing the Angel to grant him a three-year, 33mm deal, although they haven’t gotten much of it yet due to Stephenson’s injury.
