Alexander Zverev and Alex De Minaur have confirmed that they will represent Team Europe and Team World respectively at the ninth Laver Cup, which will be held at the O2 in London from September 25 to 27, 2026.

Zverev and De Minaur will join PIF ATP Ranking No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz (Team Europe) and Taylor Fritz (Team World).

A six-time Laver Cup participant and the tournament’s all-time leading scorer, Zverev returns to London with unfinished business after losing in San Francisco last year – the first Laver Cup defeat of his career. The German has previously won with Team Europe in Prague (2017), Chicago (2018), Geneva (2019), Boston (2021) and Berlin (2024).

Zverev has also returned to London, where he has enjoyed great success, including winning the Nitto ATP Finals at the O2 in 2018. He got off to a good start in the 2026 season, reaching the Australian Open semifinals (losing to Alcaraz).

“I’ve always loved being a part of the Laver Cup,” Zverev said. “The atmosphere in the team is incredible and the intensity is unlike any other we’ve had all year. London is a great tennis city and The O2 is one of the most special stadiums in the world to me and has provided some unforgettable moments for this tournament. I’m delighted to be back and hopefully we can win back the title for Team Europe.”

De Minaur, the world’s top-ranked player and winner of last week’s ATP 500 event in Rotterdam, will compete in the Laver Cup for the third time. In 2022, he was part of Team World’s first-ever title win in London, and again last year in San Francisco he played a key role, winning all three games to help Team World achieve another victory.

“The Laver Cup is one of the most intense and exciting weeks on the calendar,” said De Minaur. “Playing in London in 2022 is a special moment for our team and San Francisco showed what this team is capable of. I loved playing under Andre Agassi last year and I’m really looking forward to returning to London with him and the team.”
