adidas reveals F50 SparkFusion Boot, designed for women

Just a few weeks before the Women’s Euro 2025 Euro Cup, Adidas has launched a game-changing release: the F50 Sparkfusion, its first elite-level soccer boots built specifically for female athletes – not only in color or marketing, but in terms of structure, fit and feel.

Drawing inspiration from its largest database of female foot scanning and anatomy data on all time, Adidas created the boots and through direct input from many top female players and teams (including Trinity Rodman, Linda Caicedo, Jule Brand, Vicky Lopez, Vicky Lopez, Vicky Lopez, Arsenal Women, Real Madrid femenino, and Olympique Lyonnais).

The result is a product that prioritizes female-specific foot shapes over refurbished neutral templates.

Unlike most historically used male boots (the mold surrounding the shape of the shoe), the F50 SparkFusion was built on the last flos-flos-fusionlast of a custom-made female called Fusionlast, which is called Fusionlast-it provides heels, more arched support, and increases volume through the midfoot, matching the anatomical characteristics of the average female foot.

This delicate construction enhances locking and comfort while simultaneously transferring cornering and explosive directions.

Additionally, for added comfort and performance, the F50 SparkFusion features a Fusionsole Sockliner for added arch support and walk-in comfort, as well as a redesigned Sprintframe Fusion Fusion Fgusion FG/Ag solute gel for firm ground and artificial grass. Based on the pressure point data, it includes a central pivot stud for smooth rotation and a fourth side stud to better distribute pressure during rapid movement.

Washington Spirit and USWNT forward Trinity Rodman, who worked with Adidas throughout the process, praised the results.

“Developing customized products for women’s games was a huge win and I loved being part of the F50 SparkFusion journey,” she said. “It was built to support the way I move – the directions quickly change is a big part of my game. I can’t wait to wear them on the court and make more players feel different.”

The F50 SparkFusion will be divided into three outlines: Hero Middle, a low-cut version and a lace-free option, which is now on sale.

As women’s competition continues to grow at all levels, the F50 SparkFusion represents a big step forward – proving that performance design should always be suitable for the athletes it has built.
