Pirates full pole tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) to miss the first four games of the 2025 season

Tristan Wirfs has been firm since he stepped onto the Tampa Bay building. The 26-year-old played left and right tackles against the Buccaneers in five seasons.
In 2024, Wirfs competed in 16 of 17 games in Tampa Bay. He missed Week 12 against the Giants. Recently, Bucs beat journalist Rick Stroud, reported that Tristan Wirfs will start the season on a list that is physically unsatisfactory. He will miss at least the first four games of the Tampa Bay 2025 season. Their offensive line was large before training camp began.
Tristan Wirfs are out of activity for at least the first four weeks of the 2025 season
The Bucs will begin the season without all Pro left tackles Tristan Wirfs, who underwent surgery on his right knee on Tuesday and may miss the first few games of the regular season. Wirfs in Offseaon exacerbated his right knee injury, forcing him to just miss it…

In the 13th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Bucs chose Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs. He was the fourth tackle in the first round and could easily be the top player in his pose. Wirfs entered the league as a rookie in 2020 and started all 16 games for Tampa Bay. He was their starting RT and helped the team win the Super Bowl in his first season.
In the first three seasons of his career, Wirfs played RT. Before 2023, he seamlessly turns to LT. He is the only player in NFL history to receive first-team global honors in LT and RT. Tristan Wirfs has always been a very reliable player for the Pirates. Unfortunately, the 26-year-old suffered a setback before the 2025 season.

The Pirates defeated journalist Rick Stroud, reported that Tristan Wirfs had knee surgery on Tuesday. The doctor found some extra minor injuries. Stroud noted that the Wirfs may start the season on a list that is physically unsuccessful. Then, the All-Pro LT will miss at least the first four games of the 2025 season.
Rick Stroud noted that Bucs did sign 49ers free agent left tackle Charlie Heck. When recovering, he may replace Wirfs on LT. Heck is a deal from Cardinal to 49ers in the 2024 season. Heck has played 53 games and started 20 games in his five-year career. The lack of Tristan Wirfs will affect the Tampa Bay offense. Fortunately, during the offseason, the team has time to adjust. Wirfs will return in 2025, but they need to do that without him.
