A giant dog is a star on Losc Lille’s New Home Kit release

Losc Lille has unveiled their new home kit for the 2025/26 season, and while several of the club’s players are modeling the design at the launch, it’s a huge dog that stole the show.

The Ligue 1 side reveals their latest New Balance Warufucted Strip through photo shoot ‘domaine de luchin’ Training ground – The site also houses the club’s iconic bronze statue of Moses, a nod to Lille’s nickname “Les Dogues” (mastiffs).

But the statue is not the only dog on duty. The real-life canines – probably mastiff – also appeared during the shooting.

The dog stood towering over four feet tall, standing in front of a group of Lille players including Ethan Mbappé, Lucas Chevalier, André Gomes and Bafodé Diakité, as well as women’s team stars Jamila Hamidou and Céleste delcroix.

The behind-the-scenes video also shows that the dog has received widespread attention and affection from the team and is happy to have attracted the attention of everyone.

As for the kit itself (you may have overlooked this one in all the canine chaos), it features the club’s red trademark red, covered with bold, comprehensive geometric prints.

The club said the design was inspired by the architectural works of Vauban in the 17th century. The interlocking line references the geometry of Lille’s historic building, while also nodding to the club’s Pentagon rest, which is appropriate, characterized by mastiff.

An amazing kit, a creative concept – and a nice boy who can go all out.
