Oakmont, Pa. – One hundred and fifty players held a kickoff time at the Oakmont Country Club at the 2025 U.S. Open location on Thursday and Friday.
However, you may have heard of Oakmont, and it’s not a sales pitch. Vegetables are fast and rough ThickOn Sunday, we will be crowned the national champion.
Scottie Scheffler is once again a bet favorite, and he will get off with Viktor Hovland and Collin Morikawa at 1:25 pm on Thursday. Even though he won three of his last four games, Schefler didn’t expect the odds.
“I don’t focus on something I like the most or something like that,” he said Tuesday. “We’ve even reached the attitude starting Thursday morning, depending on where I’m going to play against the golf course and see what I can do.”

Niemann is about to win his fourth trophy title of the season, while Liv won 50% of the tournaments in 2025 to promote the group to the top ten.

Three former U.S. Open champions were slightly worn out by three fuchsia jug winners in this ranking (see below).
7 – Cameron Smith, Brian Harman, Phil Mickelson

This group of threes are made up of three, although Phil Mickelson is still the U.S. Open champion rather than finishing a professional grand slam. He also stood out after this season. Will Oakmont become a public welcome for Mickelson?

There’s a lot to like about this group, no, we’re not talking about jawlines of chisels. The best fluctuations in the game will be fully demonstrated. Take notes.
5 – Min Woo Lee, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka

Min Woo Lee is a talented professional who many American fans don’t even know yet, and he will be thrown into a group of people, with two stars winning seven majors together. Thomas is one of the top ten favorites this week, and Koepka, who missed the layoffs in two major matches this year, hopes to rebound as he has won two wins.
4 – Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Rory McIlroy

Now, this It looks like a comfortable pairing. Three European Ryder Cup teammates Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy’s headlines. The Ruler’s Master Champion – who happened to beat Rose in the April playoffs – struggled in his last two games. Which version of McIlroy will we get this week?

How will Bryson DeChambeau eradicate the barbaric Oakmont? We caught a glimpse in his YouTube video a few days ago, but the score actually came out on Thursday. The defending Open champion is a favorite this week and has finished in the top five in both major starts in 2025. Don’t forget Xander, who finished the top 20 in 12 of his last 13 major starts and won two majors last season. Finally, there is Ballester, the amateur champion of the ruler. Hope his behavior.
