Thunders vs Pacers’ Game 1 has attracted the lowest NBA Finals audience since 2007 – Basketball Insider

Since 2007, the first NBA Finals game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers has received the lowest audience rating.
The Pacers won a very interesting match 111-110 on the Tyrese Haliburton jumper with 0.3 seconds left. The average average audience has been 8.91 million since Tim Duncan and San Antonio Masturs swept Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2007.
The common years are an exception, with an average of 8.7 million in 2020 and 2021.
The big media figures were disappointed in the final showdown, mainly because it involved two small market teams. There is also a lack of stellar power.
Game 2 of the NBA Finals will be at 8:00 PM EST on Sunday at Oklahoma City.
Many people are excited about the Thunder’s showdown against the Pacers
Jason McIntyre, who made a appearance at Fox Sports With Colin Cowherd, The final showdown is controversial.
“I’m not that excited about these NBA finals,” McIntyre said. “If I were an NBA, I would have changed its motto to ‘Give me a super team or give me a death.’ That’s what I like, I like the superstars in the NBA finals, we really don’t have it.
“We don’t have dynasties, we have debuts, which is not like the sexiness of the last quarter century.
Despite his flaws, the numbers seem to reflect McIntyre’s point of view. With the age of LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, guards are always inevitable.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is definitely a superstar material like Tyrese Haliburton. Their names only build their habits in the hearts of casual fans.
Former Indiana Pacers Sharp Shooter CJ Miles jumped out of the view on Twitter/X, calling it a “loser talk.”
Just say you don’t like basketball… Go to YouTube and watch highlights
You’re frustrated, both of the best teams competed in the finals
This is a conversation of losers.. You don’t like the game…you don’t know the game, so you can’t talk about it with a “superstar” fan base to cater to

There are many others who choose Halliburton’s game winner’s moments to seize McIntyre and those with similar views.
Longtime NBA reporter and Hall of Men and Women David Aldridge’s shots of those same people as McIntyre aren’t that subtle. However, he did not name it specifically.
For whatever reason, there has never been anyone who has decided not to watch the series. What’s the reason for not caring about them. Don’t want to be on the boat. If you like basketball, you will love this series. period. I love hoops.
