Cullig’s comparison certainly makes sense. When comparing, Doukoure had owned with Upamecano – despite playing more time – and impressively surpassed his performance.
Doukoure will also win the tackle title with his Frenchman and will be desperate to follow the same top-tier path as Upamecano, which may be the first to be moved to the Premier League, provided by Crystal Palace.
