Titleist unleashes new AIM 360 balls to help golfers with more putts

Anignment Technology on golf has made great progress in golf in recent years, and Titleist now introduces the Soft Aim 360 on its two products, AVX and Tour Soft.

AIM stands for aligned integrated marks, these are the first balls from the first manufacturer with a full 360-degree mark. For comparison, their premium balls – Pro V1, Pro V1X and Pro V1X Left DASH models – have extended aligned side stamps, 65% longer than the 2025 Pro V1 side postmark.

Why did Titleist do it?

The alignment feature was first added to the Pro V1 side stamp in 2007 after feedback from self-executed Tour players. Since then, each version has a different marking that helps golfers align on the tee and on the green.

In recent years, other brands have focused more on visual alignment aids and Titleist’s R&D team conducted a controlled test to measure the accuracy between the three markers: AIM 360, enhanced alignment and standard Pro V1 side postmarks – proximity to the hole was measured by various angles.

The results show that the alignment of the two AIM products is improved by up to 35% compared to the standard Pro V1 side stamp. Therefore, it is very likely that you will see a different Pro V1 in the near future.

What do titleists say?

“The 360-degree marking on the golf ball gives the player a look and enhanced alignment. It’s for players who prefer more than other golf balls we use AIM technology than the alignment features. When we started the design process, we wanted to make sure that the designs we created were all relevant to golf, but also offer these advantages. Decoration.”

What about the ball?

The Titleist AVX ball is designed for players looking for low-altitude and low-spinning balls, with a very soft feel and excellent green space control. The latest generation of AVX is redesigned from the core, from TEE to green, more Greenside rotation and control and a softer feel.
