2025 NHL Introductory Draft – Top 10 Right Wing – Hockey Writers – NHL Entry Draft

The 2025 NHL admission draft is full of right-wingers who will see their names on the first night. Porter Martone and Victor Eklund may be selected in the top ten, with a few destined to hear their names in the first round. This year’s prospects blend breakups, organizers and all-around players.
Location Qualifications and Ranking Orders are based on the final NHL Central Scout Ranking.
10. DaniilProkhorov – Dynamo St. Petersburg Jr. (Russia Small)
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: No. 18 (EU Skater)
At 6-foot-6, Daniil Prokhorov stood out on the ice. He used the frame very well on both ends of the ice. From the offensive aspect, Prokhorov played the game of power forward and goalkeepers. Although he didn’t do as much as many people hoped to block the hockey opponent, he did a great job.
He helped him into the position of the puck with his strong skating and hands, and there was no problem doing so. His shots are hard to release, but he needs to improve his shooting efficiency and accuracy to improve his new level. Overall, Prokhorov has a lot of original talent to use and with proper guidance and development that could become an NHL-level influence.
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: No. 33 (NA Skateboarder)
Shane Vansaghi is a talented team that has performed well this season at Michigan State University (and one of the youngest players in the NCAA). He found himself playing six roles in the Spartans, mainly on the third line. As third, many people want him to be a grinder, but Vansaghi is much more than that. He has proven himself to do dirty work, and he has offensive skills that can turn into the first six forwards when time comes.
Vansaghi has a strong skill toolbox and has great potential. With further development, he can hold a seat on the NHL team, serving as a six-point power forward, who provides secondary offense. With his commitment to defensive defensive games, he also has the tools to do well in special teams, especially when it comes to free throw kills.
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: No. 8 (EU Skater)
IHS-Wozniak may not be one of the most popular names to enter the 2025 NHL admission draft, but he may be selected as one of the most underrated strikers. He started slowly on the J20 Nationell team but was strong in the second half of the season, including international games. He is a versatile power forward who adapts to his game while maintaining his offense.

IHS-Wozniak has 5 goals and two assists to help Sweden win the silver medal in the 2025 U18 world. In the regular season with the J20 Nationell team, he scored 57 points in 40 games while adding 4 points in three playoff games. This season, he demonstrated his ability to find open space while also demonstrating his shooting ability.
7. Bill Zonnon – Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL)
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: 31st (NA Skateboarder)
Zonnon is a versatile player who can play on center and wings. His level of competition, sense of hockey and intensity jumped out of the page. He uses his 6-foot-2-foot, 190-pound frame with great speed to win battles, establish separation from the hockey and players, and build and dominate against cross country. He is a powerful skater and his agility in his first steps makes it hard for him to contain. He has been in motion and his IQ allows him to create space for drama.

Zonnon has a huge skill in hockey, using open space to effectively make himself available and attract players. His dramatic consciousness and vision make him a powerful and brain hockey promoter. He has smart decisions, performs well, and can connect with his teammates with a firm and clear pass. He can easily find their cross-type feed, through traffic feathers, feathery, work and go, and has great hands and touches in small areas of ice. He can quickly and promptly dekes, can trick his movements with fake elimination and curls, and spend a few seconds creating or keeping the performance.
6. EddieGenborg – Linkoping – (SHL)
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: Sixth (EU Skater)
Last season, Ronburg split the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) and Sweden’s J20 Nationell League, playing 28 regular season games in each game. At the J20 level, he is one of the best players in Linking HC, and despite the 10 fewer games than the next highest scorer, he ended with a team-leading 19 goals and a fifth-highest score overall. He is also one of the youngest players on the team. Of all the U18 players in J20 Nationell, he ranks 18th in goals. No other Linköping players sit in the top 20.
Genborg’s offensive game isn’t powerful, playing a simpler, simpler style that can be done with Little Flash or Pizzazz. He was stationed in front of the net and scored when he picked up the rebound. Although they are not the most beautiful targets, they are still important. In J20, his figure is hard to handle, which is why he has such a productive offense. In the SHL, he was surpassed in some of these net pre-fights, thus having fewer chances of scoring.
5. RykerLee – Madison Capitol – (USHL)
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: No. 28 (NA Skateboarder)
Ryker Lee is a young forward who will affect all three areas and work hard to check. Not only did he abandon the hockey – his dump and chase, ensuring he restored possession and created additional scoring opportunities from scratch. With his high hockey IQ, he set a number of goals with the sleek Dekes, leading the Madison Capitols this season. The American Hockey League (USHL) Rookie of the Year scored 68 points (31 goals, 37 assists) in 58 regular season games, recording more assists than goals. He scored another six points in six Clark Cup playoff games.

Lee exerted his consistent creativity and always wanted to show his skills and outperform the defenders. He hangs them,
Sometimes, sometimes putting the puck into a triangle, sometimes with busy high-speed processing. He overcompeted some drama, took over too many defenders, closed his space, and moved the puck to places where it was especially nowhere. Overall, he does bring many skills to the table that will serve him well in the future.
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: Fifth (EU Skater)
There are always a lot of action between the period and final ranking of NHL Central Scouting. Still, Alexander Zharovsky broke odds by breaking odds from a poor prospect to one of the few players to the fifth largest European skater. In the final months before the NHL draft, this unprecedented move caused a sensation from the Russian winger.

– taahaa (@taahaalone) June 6, 2025
Zharovsky, with his enviable offensive tools, led Tolpar UFA with 24 goals and 50 points in 45 games, ranking 11th in MHL scores. Although he didn’t see any Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) moves in the regular season, he dominated, with a 12-game winning streak from December 18 to February 15, where he scored 24 points.
Tolpar bounced from the playoffs in just two games, and Zarkovsky was finally summoned to the KHL with Salavat Yulaev, where he was the only U18 player and one of four juniors to see any playoffs. He also looked stable in seven games, providing an assist on average just over six minutes per game. He also spent some time in the Russian U18 playoffs, scoring 12 goals in 10 games.
3. Justin Carbonneau – Blainville-Broisbriand (QMJHL)
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: 16 (NA Skateboarder)
Justin Carbonneau is the force on ice in any area. His game started with his explosion skills and speed. In the defensive zone, he constantly scans the zone to pick up the opponent and supports his defender from his center position. While he shows signs of solid defensiveness, it is an area of his game that can take advantage of further development and advancement as he occasionally struggles with coverage and position. Once he put the puck on the stick, the scan of that ice will continue. He is either looking for a passable driveway or opening the ice to handle it with speed and sticks.

He has a strong passing ability and he has everything to do with an offensive force on the next level. His biggest downfall in offensive games seems to be that despite playing at good speeds and having a great performance, he tends to play too fast and sometimes try to do too much of himself. This advancement in his game will come from maturing and slowing down his game.
2. VictorEklund – Djurgarden – (Hoccer player – Sweden)
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: Second place (EU skater)
Victor is the brother of San Jose Sharks forward William Eklund, who is likely one of the names on the June draft board. He showed a trick at the professional level of the season, both from range and net free throws. He will play professional men’s hockey with Djurgårdens in the Swedish Hockey League for his first full season, and he helped advance to Sweden’s top division in 2025-26.
Eklund is also a key member of the Swedish World Junior Team. Even though he was one of the youngest forwards in the game, he scored six points in seven games. Eklund’s competitiveness is admirable. Again, he may be a smaller player, but his determination will surprise you. He won quite a lot of hockey battles, making him an excellent supporter for the lap. If that means gaining possession, he is not afraid to challenge a player bigger than him. Eklund has and has no hockey, and is an opposition nightmare.
NHL Central Reconnaissance Ranking: Sixth (NA Skateboarder)
There is no prospect of more strength than Brampton Steelheads forward Porter Martone in this draft. His mid-range shot was played with a deadly shot, showing great power in his release, but he could also do a lot of damage in front of the net. He can compete for a second fusion chance, dig out the puck, and gain freedom with his quick hands and switch scoring opportunities.

Martone was joined by Canada to win the men’s world championship, replacing Bo Horvat, who missed the rest of the game due to injury. He continued to improve his draft picks with a skill, physical performance and a winning mentality throughout the season. This is his example of setting an example and doing everything he can to make a significant impact. He plays a physically strong hockey brand, always playing with pace in the offensive area, putting opponents’ skins in trouble, mixing them together, and living with the net.
The biggest problem with the draft is where to choose Martone. Probably the top 6 choice, and some think he might be the second player to agree on Matthew Schaefer. When the 2025 NHL admission draft was held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on June 27 and 28, we will find out where these players land.
