Delap misses the euro and Chelsea joining

New Chelsea forward Liam Delap has not yet participated in the Under-21 team to win the European Championship in Slovakia this summer.

Delap joined Blues this week for £30m from Ipswich Town and instead joins Enzo Maresca’s side for the Club World Cup.

Chelsea played their first game in a new outbreak tournament against Los Angleles Football Club on June 16.

England won the last euro in 2023.

They began their defense of the Czech Republic on June 12 and faced Slovenia and Germany.
