Arsenal midfielder Jorginho will all complete his move from North London club later this week.

According to Globo Esporte, he will fly out on Thursday night to complete his move to Brazilian club Flamenco.

The 33-year-old midfielder wants to join them in the club’s World Cup, so he decided to terminate his contract with Arsenal as soon as possible. He will have no contract at the end of this month. Jorginho has given up about £500,000 in salary to end the deal early.

Players will join the free transfer of Team South America, and it remains to be seen whether he can make an immediate impact. He has always been a useful player for Arsenal and it is interesting whether the Gunners can replace him adequately.

Arsenal needs midfield depth

Next season, they need to have higher quality and depth in the middle of the park. They are linked to the move by Martin Zubimendi, the Spanish international may be the ideal replacement for the Italians.

Jorginho is in the twilight of his career, and it is the right time for him to try out new challenges. He is not a regular starter for Arsenal and sitting on the bench at the London club is not ideal for him. He may get more opportunities at the Brazilian club next season.

Jorginho should be a high-quality supplement

Even though he was in the twilight stage of his career, he still had the technical attributes, experience and leadership that helped Flamenco improve. He can prove to be a valuable addition to the locker room.

Players prove themselves in Italy and the UK. Whether he can leave his mark in South American football games now remains to be seen.
