Golf Business News – Feel good golf comedy series “Stick” airs on Apple TV

Starring and executive of the new TV golf comedy series Stick, starring Owen Wilson, launched this week on Apple TV+, the show aired the first three episodes of a 10-part show on June 4.
Created by performance host Jason Keller, who also co-created the popular football comedy series Ted Lasso,,,,, stamp See Owen Wilson’s star as Pryce Cahill, a cleaned former travel agency who cheated prematurely 20 years ago.
After his marriage collapsed and was fired at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedged his bets and futures, entirely played by Peter Dager, a troubled 17-year-old golf prodigy Santiago Wheeler, whom Cahill accidentally encountered him in his local residence, offering Lesson’s chance sex.
According to the press conference, “Stick is a heartfelt, feel-good comedy about a family and its relationship within the world of golf because it has never been shown”.
In addition to Wilson and Dagel, the ensemble cast includes Mark Malone, Mariana Trevinho, Lily Kay, Judy Greer and Timothy Olyphant, and guest appearances on PGA tours including Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Keegan Bradley, Max Homa, Max Homa, Wyndham Clark, etc.

Other cameos in the golf world include broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, Good Good’s Matt Scharff, Brad Dalke and Garrett Clark, and American golf journalist Dan Rapaport.
After the first three episodes of Apple TV+ June 4 fall, each Wednesday will be released every Wednesday until the last episode of July 23.
