French Open 2025 results: Jack Draper

Draper has grown to the biggest title in the past 12 months.

Having tools that work on all surfaces has made Draper an open contender in France.

Going to the Madrid Open final was an early sign of improvement, and his performance in Paris supported that.

Patience is required on Italy’s Mattia Bellucci and French veteran Gael Monfils. Similar to Fonseca – Draper quickly gained control by investing his time at the rally and picking offensive shots at the right time.

The speed and rotation of Draper’s forehand was particularly difficult due to the British’s quick double breakup.

In Game 8, a double malfunction of 30-30 brought a faint hope for Fonseca, before Draper rediscovered his first serve and resumed the opening in 29 minutes.

Power – Support from the crowd – started building for Fonseca in a stricter second set, but Draper quickly put out hope with a steady service game.

He broke the lead by 4-3 – after saving two breakout points in Game 10, he was enough to lead two sets.

Draper continued to play cleverly at the start of the third set, mixing the depth of rewards with outstanding projections to end the victory.
