Angel re-signed Shaun Anderson

Right-handed Sean Anderson According to the MILB.com transaction log, after being assigned as a job by Angel’s task, the waiver was cleared and Halos was quickly re-signed with Halos.

The 30-year-old Anderson threw 10 innings for the Halo before his DFA and ran seven runs with 10 strikeouts on 14 hits and 3 walks. He averaged 92.1 mph on the quad pin, but still got speeds at 12.2% sway speed, thanks in part to his mix with his career-high usage rate (23.3%). Anderson entered the season, entering his career with a 152 MLB, with his career throwing only 7% changes (11.5% in 2024). This is a sample of a small game, but he also uses changes more frequently in Triple-A (although not).

Anderson saw action during part of six major league seasons and fitted eight different teams in the process. He took a tough hit, with overall strikeout rate of 162 MLB frames and 8.7% walking rate producing a 6.11 ERA, but the team continued to keep him on the look with a solid triple track and some attractive features. He has shown great abilities throughout his career to produce spins on his four-pin and sliders, while the 6’6″ right hand gets a great extension on the court, which can help his tedious speed work.

Anderson was the starter at Salt Lake and was summoned by Angels. He threw 37 1/3 innings in seven games and recorded a 5.06 ERA, a strikeout rate of 17.6% and a 7.6% walk rate. He served as a reliefist for multiple innings with the Angels and saw him in a stadium of up to 51 in a May 11 appearance.
