Golf Business News – Husqvarna Golf Day raises funds for Faldo Futures

Husqvarna is a global leader in outdoor power products and robotic lawn mowers, raising over £15,000 for Faldo Futures through the star-studded golf invitational tournament held at Ascot Berkshire Golf Club.

In addition to In-tubes (Football AM), TV celebrity Mark Wright and golf star Iona Stephen, numerous sports talents from past and present, including former and England International are participating in the Support Foundation – including Tubes (Succer AM), who have contributed to Faldo Futures Iniatiative.

Faldo Futures Initiative has alumni, such as five-time champion Rory McIlroy, who aims to introduce the game to young players and has developed an advanced education program to improve their skills. Core, this is a junior golf series designed to encourage participation and retention of young golfers aged 7-12 years – designed to be inclusive, without disability requirements, and focus on making the game accessible to all kids.

Sir Nick Faldo, who hosted a long-term clinic for guests at the Husqvarna Invitational, said: “It is a big support for the Faldo Futures Fundation from Husqvarna, a company dedicated to the future of golf through its support for the DP World Tour. The contribution will help the future generation of our amazing games.”
