Manchester United’s pursuit of a new striker has already determined the decisive shift, with reports showing that sports star Victor Gyokeres’ move is now “little is on the table”.

Once considered the highest target for strengthening the Red Devils’ offense, the Swedish forward is no longer the main target of the club or the player himself.

Instead, Manchester United has turned their attention to Wolverhampton Rangers striker Matheus Cunha, and the discussions are on the way.

According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United is not signing sports prolific attackers in the competition now.

Manchester United is focusing on Kuna

The Red Devils don’t need to sign the Gilkers as an agreement agrees to sign Kunaha from Wolves this summer.

Gyokeres enjoyed a sensational season in Portugal, scoring 54 goals in all competitions and helping them win the Primeira Liga title.

His explosive form has trapped him in the radar of several elite clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, according to sources close to this situation, United’s choice to seek more achievable options in Cunha, and Gyokeres’ pursuit is now effectively shelved.

The 26-year-old Sweden International has released terms of 100 million euros in the region, but has taken far less than the action.

It is not clear whether Manchester United decides not to sign economically based on tactical reasons.

In addition, it is understood that Gyokerers himself did not prioritize Old Trafford at this stage, which could support another project.

At this point, the striker is reportedly leading Arsenal to join Mikel Arteta’s team.

As for Manchester United, a deal for Kuna is in the advanced stage and, if finalized, will mark the club’s efforts to reshape the squad under Ruben Amorim.
