France Open 2025: Italy Lorenzo Musetti enters second round

Musetti, 23, first broke into the top ten early in May, showing up in a glittering form on clay.
He was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz in the Monte Carlo Masters final in April and reached the semifinals of the Madrid Open and the Italian Open this month.
“This month is incredible. I’ve achieved many goals,” he said.
“But I think the best thing is that it’s not here yet. I managed to find a way to get me going forward in rankings and levels.”
He will face French wildcard Valentin Royer or Colombian lucky loser Daniel Elahi Galan in the second round of Roland Garros.
Earlier Sunday, the 12th-seeded Tommy Paul from a game, defeating Dane Elmer Moeller 6-7 (5-7) 6-2 6-3 6-1.
