Lamine Yamal took part in the beam challenge and the result was what you expected
Lamine Yamal is one of (if not) The best football player on the planet this season.
Spain's Wonderkid swept the football world at the age of 17 – scoring 18 goals in all games and providing 25 assists in all games, his performance was incredible, helping Barcelona secure the historic treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
But, besides silverware and statistics, there is a timeless great test of football (except for the cold, rainy nights of Stoke): Crossbeam challenge.
As far as Yamal is concerned, he passes it with the same ease and precision.
A graduate of La Masia Academy took to Instagram to share his attempt at #PowerAdecrossBarchallenge. Target? Knock the ball from the edge of the box and hit the position where the power bottle is placed – in this case, at the corner.
“Hi, my name is Lamine Yamal, it's a Powerade Crossbar challenge,” he said in Spanish before stepping up.
Yamal hit the ball without confidence and found the corner of the pole with precise accuracy. As the viewer's cheers burst, the Powerade bottle was overturned.
Yamal challenged fans to post their own attempts in his title. Some have already had-some people proudly wear shirts with his name on the back.
