Italian Open: Jack Draper

Britain's Jack Draper defeated Vit Kopriva for the final 16 of the Italian Open, but his frustration boiled in a straight win.

Although the fifth seed won 6-4 6-3 in Rome, he was struggling to end the victory and beat the court several times at one point with a racket.

Draper competed behind the Madrid Open, where he won the game in 41 minutes and finished the first set in 41 minutes, saving a breakout point.

But this is by no means a navigation in the second race, as the Czech qualifier Kopriva saved four breakout points to lower his deficit to 3-2.

After the fifth-placed Draper, the world, shot him through the net, hit the clay four times with his racket and then knocked it to the floor with a chair.

The 23-year-old left three lords in the center of the courtroom – his racket in rags – and issued a warning from the referee.

Kopriva led 40-0 in the next game, but Global No. 92 rejected his chance to retreat with a long backhand opportunity.

Draper reorganized his serve and led 4-2, then set a second chance to break Kopriva in the scene, and the third time.

Kopriva once again proved the stubborn opposition by saving two match points, the second forced Britain number one mistake after a bad rebound in one of the resigned left by Drapper.

But Draper won the third inquiry and although Draper did encounter more uncompulsory mistakes (37-27), he won twice as many winners (21-10).
