Winker was diagnosed with Grade 2 strain (a moderate severity) and will be reduced within six to eight weeks (via the New York Daily News monastery Mastracco).

This is Minter's second consecutive injury season. The veteran reliefist ended his last year as a member of the Braves after surgery to resolve a left hip problem last August. In the winter, he arrived at free agent for the first time. New York signed a surprising two-year, $22mm contract, which included a withdrawal after the first season. They gambled that Minter would return the form as above average set up person once after the healthy offseason.
