Emma Raducanu withdraws from Linz Open due to virus

Emma Raducanu has postponed the start of her clay-court season because she is still recovering from a viral illness, according to her representatives.
The British number one was due to compete at the Linz Open in Austria next week, but BBC Sport learned on Wednesday she had withdrawn from the WTA 500 event.
It is understood that Raducanu, 23, wants to focus on making a full recovery before returning to clay court action.
The world No. 28 began feeling unwell during a hard-court tournament in the Middle East in February. She competed in Indian Wells last month but decided to skip Miami.
This brings another period of uncertainty for Raducanu. Her career has been riddled with injuries and physical issues since winning a Grand Slam title as a teenage qualifier in New York.
Last season she made encouraging progress, completing a half-century in a season for the first time.
But this year is off to another rocky start. The first three months featured a familiar mix: signs of progress, crushing defeats, coaching changes and health disruptions.
