Federer to take part in on-court celebrations during 2026 Hall of Fame induction ceremony

The International Tennis Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 induction celebration schedule. During the celebrations from August 27 to 29, 2026, Roger Federer will be inducted in the player category and Mary Carillo will be inducted in the contributor category. Individual tickets and full weekend packages for select events will go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on February 11.

Originally launched in 2025, this redesigned celebration will kick off with a three-day program on Friday, August 28 in Newport, Rhode Island. The Hall of Fame Professional Classic, presented by Fidelity Investments, returns on Friday, August 28, with Federer joining other tennis legends in the doubles. New events include a new red carpet preview and watch party for fans ahead of the induction ceremony.

With tickets starting at $90, fans will enjoy the rare opportunity to watch Federer play on the court where he achieved many of his greatest successes. More information about participants in the Hall of Fame Pro Classic presented by Fidelity Investments will be announced in the coming months.

In 2026, fans will also have access to exclusive red carpet preview seats for the first time, with special appearances by Federer, Carrillo and other Hall of Fame members ahead of the 2026 induction ceremony. Red carpet pre-show tickets also include admission to the induction watch party, where fans can watch the ceremony together on the big screen at Hall of Fame Stadium.

In addition, the three-day celebration in Newport will resume existing programming such as the Courting Fashion Cocktail Party and Fit for Fame Blazer Awards Dinner at the iconic Marble House. The Hall of Fame will host the Hall of Fame grounds, where fans can enjoy an engaging tennis experience, live podcast recordings, food trucks and more. The celebrations will also kick off with the return of The Tennis Wave, a temporary tennis court on Bowen’s Wharf, which will be attended by Hall of Famers.

Individual tickets for the 2026 Induction Celebration Red Carpet Preview and Watch Party, Hall of Fame Celebrity Pro Classic presented by Fidelity Investments and Courting Fashion will go on sale Wednesday, February 11 at 10 a.m. ET. Fans looking for a more enriching induction celebration experience can choose from a variety of ticket packages, which include access to the weekend program and induction ceremony at the Horseshoe Field, VIP access and seating to weekend events, and a three-night stay at a Newport Premier hotel.
