AJ PUK Close with flexor muscle strain

D-backs Southpaw aj puk Nick Piecoro of the Republic of Arizona reported that he had been diagnosed with flexor muscle strain. He will no longer throw for 2-3 weeks before reevaluating. Fortunately, the team did not think the injury required surgery.
It's a moderately encouraging news after PUK sought multiple opinions in an elbow injury after last week's revelation. He was on the 15-day injury list on April 19 and was imaging almost immediately. This obviously increases the likelihood of surgery, but he seems to avoid the worst.
That is, he will obviously extend it. PUK didn't resume throwing until mid-May as early as mid-May. He certainly needs to build from there for many weeks. He won't be back in the MLB mound by June and there seems to be a good chance to outperform the All-Star Game. Puk had a Tommy John program on his medical charts before. He underwent surgery when he became the prospect of System A in 2018.
Puk acquired from Miami during last year's deadline and was excellent for the Diamondback. He posted a 1.32 ERA with 43 strikeouts in just 27 1/3 innings. He has hit another eight rounds with 12 punches this season. He recorded four saves and did not throw a lead in the first three weeks.
PUK's absence gives Justin Martinez Consolidating yourself is Torey Lovullo's top game weapon. The firefighter has played 10 innings and two rounds, with 11 punches and a 61.9% ground rate. Shelby Miller,,,,, Kevin Ginkel,,,,, Jalen Beeks and Ryan Thompson is one of the settings group.
