I do think Edmonton has legitimate interest in Jarry, but I think that’s extremely complicated and probably impossible. Mainly because Pittsburgh doesn’t have one yet and has said it won’t keep it. He still has two years and $5.375 million on his contract, but the Penguins are unwilling to stay.
Now, for those Oilers fans out there, you know what that means, that might not be possible because Edmonton has to do some roster surgery to get it done. And now, with their own injuries and salary cap situation, they’re really in trouble. So like I said, I believe there’s interest in Jarry, I just don’t know if it’s possible.

I don’t believe this is one of the possible reasons because I don’t think this is a Skinner vs. Jarry situation. I believe for the Oilers, if they can do that, what they want to do is pair Skinner with Jarry.
Again, there’s interest, but I don’t know, and I don’t believe it’s possible. “
