NHL Rumors: Quick coverage of the Anaheim Ducks and around the league

Pavel Mintyukov unhappy with missing game
Elliot Friedman of Sportsnet: Rumor has it that if Anaheim Ducks guard Pavel Mintyukov isn’t going to play more games — after having a good (three) straight games — he wants to be traded. On the left, Jackson Lacombe and Owen Zellweger have passed him, while Ian Moore has been given more time. General manager Pat Verbeek won’t be in a rush to trade the 2022 No. 10 overall pick.
Transmission serial number: Chris Johnston noted that Pavel Mintyukov isn’t happy with his playing time, but we’re not saying he’s going to be traded just yet, but it’s something to keep an eye on.
“The good thing about a rebuild is you get all these prospects, but there are just too many. In Mintyukov’s case, the Ducks won a couple games this week and he was scratched; he’s not happy about that because we don’t expect any players to be happy. But there are conversations between the Ducks front office and his agent, Dan Milstein, about whether that continues. I think he’d rather go somewhere else where he can play.”
After two back-to-back healthy scratches, sources say Pavel Mintyukov wants to be moved if he doesn’t play. @FriedgeHNIC. It can be said that Pavel Mintyukov has struggled this year, but he is still only 21 years old and has great offensive potential. pic.twitter.com/jWR25rhuve

Back in the 2024 free agency period, the Boston Bruins outbid the Maple Leafs for guard Nikita Zadorov by $500,000.
There has been speculation that Alexander Texil and the St. Louis Blues may mutually terminate their contracts. He earned $2.1 million and has played in just one game since Oct. 28. Would the Montreal Canadiens be interested?
