This week marks the final stop of the PGA Tour’s Fall Series, as a group of hopefuls compete at the RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
The key here is to finish in the top 100 of the FedEx Cup standings to get your 2026 PGA Tour card. Players ranked 101 to 150 in the standings after this week will receive conditional status but will be fully exempt from competing on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Basically, there’s a lot to play with.
“There’s probably a lot of young guys in this field that you’ve never heard of who could easily come out this week and win this game,” Harris English said Wednesday. “The depth of this tour is different than other tours. It gets harder and harder to compete here and keep your cards. That keeps me pushing and driving. We have a lot of young guys moving to the Islands, which keeps me on my toes not to let those guys take my job, but it pushes me to get better and better. I want to play here as long as possible. This is a sport where if you play your best golf for a few months, you get into the best tournaments out there. So, if you’re still playing well, you still have a chance to play in the best tournaments.”
