Dodgers put Tyler Glasnow on injury list

Dodgers placement Tyler Glasnow On the list of 15-day injuries with inflammation in the right shoulder. Relief Noah Davis Stand up from Triple-A Oklahoma City and take over the active roster.

Glasnow left yesterday's start after a last inning after a shoulder discomfort. It was the second consecutive exit of the 6'8″ right-hander who had squeezed out his previous start on his calves. The soreness of the shoulders was a more worrying development, although manager Dave Roberts had a bit of an understatement when talking to reporters before tonight's game against Miami. Roberts said Glasnow was fighting “overall body aches,” but they said they didn't believe Glasnow's shoulders were structurally wrong (through the sports Fabian Ardaya).

While the inflammation diagnosis matches this, it leaves behind an uncertain timeline for Grasno’s return. This is Glasnow's third IL in Los Angeles. He missed some time in the All-Star Game last season, which was a mild back worry. August's elbow sprain ended his season and stopped him from contributing to the playoffs. Glasnow's 134 innings still represents the heaviest workload of his major league career, as durability has long been his biggest problem.

Glasnow's orders were already shaking in the early days. He has gone 11 batsmen and has given up four home runs in his first 18 innings. This led to an average run of a mediocre 4.50 income, even if he beats 30% of his opponents. Last season, he performed well before his injury, shooting 32.2% from three-pointers.

And more.
