Durant’s courtside moments are well known
Kevin Durant gave fans another viral moment during Wednesday night’s game between the Rockets and Grizzlies.
During Houston’s 124-109 win, Durant was seen joking with Ja Morant’s father, Ty Morant, who was sitting courtside.
In a TikTok video posted by @courtsideunk, Durant walks up to Tee during a timeout and says, “Your son doesn’t want to be here.”
This statement caused laughter from Tee and his friends.
Durant didn’t stop there. He added, “We know this is your last weekend. Enjoy your time.”
Everyone continued to laugh as Durant walked away, clearly enjoying the moment.

Tensions surrounding Ja Morant
The exchange comes amid growing discussion about Ja Morant’s relationship with the Memphis Grizzlies.
There have been reports of tension between Morant and the team that has been going on for weeks.
Fans noticed his low energy and distant body language during games.
Morant was recently suspended one game for “conduct detrimental to the team.”
He returned in Monday’s 114-104 loss to the Detroit Pistons and scored 18 points on 5-of-16 shooting and committed five turnovers.
Against Houston, Morant once again struggled, scoring 17 points and committing six turnovers.
He also had minimal interaction with new head coach Tomas Isalo.
When asked if he and the coaching staff had cleared up the misunderstanding, Morant responded: “You all asked them that question, right? So you all know the answer.”
When asked about his state of mind, he admitted that happiness was missing.
The reporter asked him if basketball still feels the same to him. He said simply: “No.”
Asked what could bring back that joy, he responded: “We’ll see.”
Durant’s words spark more reactions
Durant’s name has been making headlines all month.
Earlier, his former teammate Draymond Green responded to Durant’s comments on Netflix Start 5 Series about offense winning championships.
Green disagreed, saying defense was more important.
“If anything, it’s like a head-scratcher,” Green told Athletic team.
“I was like, ‘Huh?’ But I know Kevin. The words were flipped. But I read what he said.”
