WTA Finals: Elena Rybakina defeats Iga Swiatek, Amanda Anisimova defeats Madison Keys

“Mentally, I’m happy that I stayed focused. I gained some confidence in the second set and everything went my way,” Rybakina said.
“Hopefully I can play like that the whole game.”
Anisimova fought back after a break to defeat compatriot Keys 4-6 6-3 6-2 and seal victory in Wednesday’s group final against Poland’s Swiatek.
Wimbledon and US Open runner-up Anisimova, who was reaching her first final, let out a roar of frustration when trailing 2-0 in the second set, but recovered well to win 12 of the next 15 games.
After the match, Keys did not shake Anisimova’s hand and explained to her opponent that she was sick.
The top eight women’s players in singles and doubles will compete in Saudi Arabia for a chance to win £12 million ($15.5 million).
