The summer heat may be subsiding, but things are heating up on the virtual fairways. I’m super excited to tell you all that our favorite team golf league – TGL Presented by SoFi – is ready for its second event! TGL Season 2 has a number of big improvements that make it incredibly exciting to start on December 28th at 3pm ET!
About Season 2: A showdown not to be missed
The season kicks off with a replay of last season’s thrilling Grand Final. Now we’ll see New York Golf Club and defending champion Atlanta Avenue GC square off once again. Guess what? We’ll be broadcasting live on ABC. Can you feel the anticipation for season 2? I know I can!
Enhancements for Season 2: Because bigger is better
Our friends at TGL have been busy. They have been studying data, analyzing tactics and gathering player feedback from Season 1. So we’re in for a treat! Expect to see a series of exciting updates.
GreenZone Expansion: The grass just gets greener
The hub for all golf talent, the battlefield in the sky and the home of TGL – green zoneunderwent an earth-shattering overhaul. From larger greens and varying slopes to more hole locations, the excitement of golf is bigger and better than ever. what else? GreenZone also features larger bunkers, and as an added bonus, the putting area has been increased by 38%.
Custom Hole: An Epic Risk-Reward Challenge
To add to the excitement, the folks at TGL have put together a series of all-new holes – each redesigned for each of the six heroic TGL teams. New hole designs promise more engaging gameplay, with unique backgrounds and terrain. Therefore, players need to take some high-risk gambles to make their wins more memorable.
Improve sight lines: Front row action because fans matter
To ensure fans get a fully immersive experience, the ball tracking camera tower has been moved to allow for a larger line of sight. Now, no matter where you are watching in the world, you’ll feel like you’re right in the middle of the game.
As Chief Technology Officer of TMRW Sports (TGL’s parent company), Andrew Macaulay said these updates are part of an ambitious plan to make TGL Season 2 presented by SoFi a compelling and exciting event.
