Selected tee times for second round
Shane Lowry is far away from home this week at the Indian Championship, but he didn’t look uncomfortable in his first-round match. Starting the front nine, Lowry was two under par around the turn. But then he burst into tears.
Lowry made five consecutive birdies on holes 11-15, quickly increasing his lead in the process and becoming tied for the lead.
Lowry’s results were far better than his friend and European Ryder Cup teammate Rory McIlroy. McIlroy had six birdies in the first round, but he fought back with three bogeys to finish at three under par.
Lowry will join Tommy Fleetwood and Luke Donald in the second round on Thursday at 10:05 pm ET.
You can watch the second round of Friday’s 2025 DP World Indian Championship from 3 to 7:30 a.m. ET. You can live stream Round 2 on Golf Channel via NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app, which will also offer live streaming from 2:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. ET on Friday.
