Japan Open: Katie Boulter defeated by Sorana Cirstea, injured Naomi Osaka wins

In the second round of the Japan Open, Britain’s third-ranked Katie Boult lost to Romania’s Sorana Sistia 6-3 6-1.
Bolt, ranked 59th in the world, defeated Linda Noskova, ranked 17th in the world, in the first round but lost in Osaka in 1 hour and 9 minutes.
There were three breaks of serve in the opening four games, and Cirstea, ranked 51st in the world, ended the first set with a 3-1 lead.
She broke Bolt three times in the second game to lead 5-0.
Although Bolt broke serve, she failed to hold serve in the remainder of the game and the impressive Sistia sealed her place in the quarter-finals.
