Felix Auger-Aliassime held a clinical presentation in the high-stakes fourth round showdown at the Rolex Shanghai Masters on Wednesday.
The twelfth seed relaxed Lorenzo Musetti with a score of 6-4, 6-2, reaching the quarter-finals in the China ATP Masters 1000 event. Olympiad – Auger-Aliassime scored a three-pointer from six points in an 85-minute victory at Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena, who will play Arthur Rinderknech in the last eight games on Friday.

“I’ve obviously tried to work there for a while and thus have a game plan for this type of game, but at this stage, playing against such an opponent is a different story.
The meeting of the eighth seed Musetti with the Russian Diamond-Ariassi on Wednesday had a big impact on the live competition in Turin in the PIF ATP live match, with the eighth-place Musetti having the opportunity to expand the gap between himself and the 10th-Ariassimi. However, by defeating tenth-placed Russian Diamonds – Aliassime in Game 5 against top ten opponents in 2025, his rival has improved by 530 points as both players compete for the Nitto ATP Finals position.
