Novak Djokovic scored a medical timeout in Shanghai on Tuesday to win a tough three-set victory.

Novak Djokovic, who had leg problems and exhaustion at the Heat test, described his fourth round of battle with Jaume Munar as a “hard day in the office” of Rolex Shanghai Masters, where the Serbs dug out his deepest reserves.

The 11th time to reach the Shanghai quarterfinals, Djokovic will next meet with Belgium’s Zizou Bergs for their first Lexus ATP Head2head Head2head meeting in their first Lexus ATP Head2head meeting. Belgrade native, fourth seed, is the highest player in the ranking.
Djokovic chased his 41st ATP Masters 1000 title since his victory in Paris in 2023. Currently ranked third in PIF ATP Live Race to Tuin to Turin, Djokovic maintains a 34-10 season record according to Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
