This is what the US has piled up with huge Ryder Cup teams in 2027

Team USA has been tasked with defending the trophy in the past two Ryder Cups.
It can be said that they did a poor job.
Jim Furyk’s team lost 17.5-10.5 in 2018 with the Le Golf National, while Zach Johnson’s team ended in 2022 with Marco Simone’s 16.5-11.5 countdown.
But after Bethpage Black lost to Europe, there are different dynamics in 2027.
The United States will head to Adare Manor in Ireland with a mission to win the trophy six years later in the hands of Europe.
So who will come to Ireland? Let’s make predictions.

These three must be on the plane.
Scottie Scheffler
Yes, the first day in the world was having a nightmare in New York, losing four of his games. But Schefler defeated Rory McIlroy on Sunday, and of course, he won the 2025 Open Championship on Irish Land. The key to 2027 is finding Schefller as the right partner for four and four goals. By doing this, he will become the main weapon to win the trophy.
Bryson Devanmo
This is not a week at Bethpage, Dechambeau lost three times in the opening time of two days. But he won a quarter of Saturday with Cameron Young and then countered from 5, tied up a single with Matt Fitzpatrick. Love him or hate him, his energy remains a key element, and of course, without him, we cannot find the elusive expired victory.
Xander Schauffele
The “X” man is much more skilled at Bethpage, but after winning three of his four games, he became the United Top scorer in the United States. He will still peak in 2027 and is one of the Americans who have an excellent record on this side of the Atlantic. Use his pencil.
Almost certainty
Justin Thomas
JT has been in and out this season, which sums up his game in the Ryder Cup. But he is one of only four Americans to win two or more games at Bethpage Black, including a great comeback victory over Tommy Fleetwood on Sunday to keep his 100% record in singles. Thomas brought great personality and leadership, so it was still a key gear.
Patrick Cantlay
Cantlay played all five games in New York, so he is obviously a trusted member of Team America. There was only one win and a draw that was disappointing, but he remained a gritty customer, a shared score for the Americans in the final Ryder Cup in 2023.
Cameron Young
Despite being a rookie, the local New Yorker is a prominent star for Bethpage’s team America as he scored three points in four games. This included a quarter of the wins, as the difficulty in cooperating with DeChambeau, so the two (who plays) became potential pairings again in Ireland.
Collin Morikawa
The two-time major champion has no best in 2025, and he leaked into the Ryder Cup, where he played only three games, lost twice in a quarter and won the tie in a singles. But Morikava is still a class show, and it would be a big surprise if he wasn’t on the 2027 team.
Sam Burning
Burns may be convincing at Bethpage, but the record book shows he lost only one of three games and got in touch in the other two. He became the last two Ryder Cup teams and is still in his 20s, proposing more growth potential with better performance over the past two years.
Return Star
Jordan Spieth
Spieth missed out for the first time since his debut in 2014, and his omission at Bethpage hasn’t caused much controversy given the choice elsewhere. But after the injury, there are some good signs that if he can continue to upgrade, the next American Ryder Cup captain will be eager to put Spieth back in trouble.
New entry
McNeilly
The Californian unfortunately ranked 10th in the Ryder Cup and did not get a draft pick for the 2025 team after Young, Canterley and Burns led 10th. But he is still on a strong upward trajectory, and over the next two years, the Irish plane will be on his radar.
Akshay Bhatia
Lefty is one of the rising stars in the United States and has won two PGA Tours in his name. He will be the 25-year-old at the 2027 Ryder Cup and a more rounded player. Just the kind of rookie who can make a difference.
Jackson Koivun
Currently, world No. 1 amateur Koivun is making rapid progress, and he has outlined the top six top six trio on the PGA Tour ahead of the 2025 Ryder Cup. During that run, he also showed off his ribs in team form, winning three quarters by winning the Walker Cup Championship at Pebble Beach.
