The 30th Seed World Number 31 Raducanu has only 16 winners, but has maintained an edge in Bucsa’s 28 seasons but in key exchange.
She saved six breakout points in the competitive first set before winning the final two games, looking like she was in charge of the game.
Raducanu won the start of the second game two games, but after missing a 3-0 upside chance, when Bucsa finally broke the game to divide the level 2-2.
She fell immediately and won four of the last five games.
Raducanu saw her in the first round, missing three games this month since losing to Barbora Krejcikova in the South Korean quarterfinals this month.
“I’m glad to fix this, after a tough rebound last week,” Radanu said.
