Cub activates Kyle Tucker

After more than three weeks of calf strains spent on the injured list, Kyle Tucker Back to the regular season series of this year. The Cubs outfielder himself told ESPN’s Jesse Rogers that he was on the roster today, his first game since September 2. The team has not officially announced the move or the corresponding deal.
The Cubs have won a playoff spot, but the last three games will bring Tucker back to October baseball. The upcoming free agents have performed well overall, but will eventually end up playing in 136 of the team’s 162 games, mainly due to this calf strain. He hit .270/.381/.472 (139 WRC+) with 22 home runs, 25 doubles, 4 triple, 25 steals and 14.7% walk rate and 14.7% strikeout rate.
If Tucker didn’t have a hairline fracture in his hand in June, his offensive numbers could be even more impressive. He figured it out and played with the injury, making his debut only three months after healing. Tucker hit a good shot in June, but his numbers dropped sharply in July. There is no clear way to know how much the small fracture will affect him, but he certainly doesn’t have 100% of the game throughout the summer.
And more.
