Flames beat Kraken 4-1 – Hockey Writer – Calgary Flames

On Tuesday, September 23, Seattle Kraken headed north to greet the flames of Calgary. After a split match on Sunday, the flames returned to Scotiabank Saddledome with all their might. It certainly benefited Calgary when they beat Kraken 4-1.

Seven minutes after the first stage, the home team finished first. Rory Kerins passed the puck to Hunter Brzustewicz of the Blue Line. He fired the gun and Yegor Sharangovich leaned towards the hockey in front of the net.
Aquaman tied up the game before the flames celebrated too much. Eeli Tolvanen sent the hockey to the board for the Mason parade. He found Mitchell Stephens in front of the net and passed the hockey to him. Stephens looked around, took the puck on the handle and shot with his backhand, putting Seattle on the board.
Ryker Evans hung up a small penalty from Matvei Gridin in less than two minutes. With less than a minute left in the power game, Karin and Connor Zary slid online. Kerins lost control of the puck, but it bounced back to his stick. He won’t miss this opportunity again, and Cairns shot again to put the flames ahead.
In the third phase, Matt Coronato took the puck and passed it to Morgan Frost behind the network. Coronato skates on the ice and when he has the chance to open, Frost handed him the puck. With a shot, the Flames extended their lead to two goals.
With three minutes left, Claken pulled Matt Murray out of the net. After 30 seconds, Sam Morton made great use of this and scored empty. With this goal, the Flames won 4-1.

The two teams will participate in the competition again tomorrow, September 24 (Wednesday). Haiku will head to Edmonton and join the Oilers team at 6:00 pm on PDT. The flames will hit the road at 7:00 PM on PDT and contact the Vancouver Canucks.
