The brave are reuniting with old friends Charlie Morton. He will join the team on Tuesday. Manager Brian Snitker shared the news with Mark Bowman of MLB.com, Gabe Burns of Atlanta Journal-Constitution and David O’Brien of Athletic. Morton has been assigned as a mission by Tiger in recent days. MLBTR learned that Morton would sign with Atlanta as a free agent, indicating that he cleared the waiver. Bowman believes that the club has the potential to bring Morton to a brave retirement. It is not certain whether he will pitch for the club for the rest of the season. Atlanta will have to open a 40-man lineup to officially take Morton on the way.
